UTAH DIGITAL SUMMIT 2019

Utah Communities Connect: Utah’s Digital Alliance endeavors to bring awareness and action to
our communities concerning information communication technologies around access, devices,
and education. At the summit on October 8th, we will convene local leaders from government,
education, nonprofits, libraries, service providers, and others to discuss digital inclusion efforts,
raise awareness, and identify opportunities for community members and stakeholders working
toward digital equity in Utah.

Agenda:

9:00 AM | Welcome and keynote addresses by Kelleigh Cole and Mallory Bateman

10:00 AM | Two rounds of breakout sessions on: Education, Healthcare, Civic Engagement, Economic Opportunity, Accessibility, Digital Literacy in the Community.

12:00 PM | Lunch, Networking, and Awards Presentation with Mayor Jackie Biskupski

Bill Morris

Attorney
Bill Morris was born and raised in Weber County. He attended Weber High School and Weber State University. He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Subsequently, he attended the University of Wyoming where he received his Juris Doctorate, and was a visiting law student at the University of Utah. He is presently a licensed attorney with the Utah State Bar.
During the course of his 20 year career in local government, he has worked with multiple cities and towns in several states. He dedicates numerous hours to improving local government, administration, social justice, and community outreach. He currently serves as City Attorney in multiple jurisdictions, as an Administrative Law Judge, and an Ethics Commissioner. He has served on the board of many non-profit organizations positions, including: Marriott Heritage Foundation, Outreach Utah, and the Utah Domestic Violence Coalition.
