Utah Communities Connect: Utah’s Digital Alliance endeavors to bring awareness and action to
our communities concerning information communication technologies around access, devices,
and education. At the summit on October 8th, we will convene local leaders from government,
education, nonprofits, libraries, service providers, and others to discuss digital inclusion efforts,
raise awareness, and identify opportunities for community members and stakeholders working
toward digital equity in Utah.


9:00 AM | Welcome and keynote addresses by Kelleigh Cole and Mallory Bateman

10:00 AM | Two rounds of breakout sessions on: Education, Healthcare, Civic Engagement, Economic Opportunity, Accessibility, Digital Literacy in the Community.

12:00 PM | Lunch, Networking, and Awards Presentation with Mayor Jackie Biskupski

Health promotion, outreach, volunteer management, grant writing, technology and partnership forming are a few of my favorite things.
Catherine Draper is from Sacramento, California. She has lived in Utah for 12 years and lives in Orem with her spouse and two children. Catherine loves to collect hobbies including knitting, painting, woodwork, zero-waste, reading, cooking, and computer programming. Catherine graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors in Public Health with an Emphasis in Health Promotion. Currently, Catherine is serving as a Digital Inclusion VISTA at United Way of Utah County. Her focus within the program is to develop community partnerships and seek sustainable funding for Digital Inclusion in Utah County.
